Spanish tiles, the word already indicates that they appears to originate in Spain. However, this is confusing since the Moors came before with the idea of clay tiles with hand-painted patterns. We understand them in today’s baked tiles as with a plain glaze layer also called an enamel layer. With Azulejos, they usually mean wall tiles and floor tiles they call Baldosas in Spain.
